You have certainly tried a number of treatments and you could never be faulted for not trying. After seven years of torture and numerous failed treatments (including hymenectomy) you crossed over to the other side. I can assure you this is not a fluke but only the beginning of a joyous relationship. As you continue to be more functional physically you will benefit from counseling to help you through the emotional (psychologic) challenges. So many of my patients have said “I need to catch up emotionally to where I am physically”. So there is still work to do but what you have achieved now is monumental. Congratulations!
I would love to hear from our other dilating divas their experiences with the emotional aspects of achieving intercourse and the progress made. I feel this is a very important topic because it creates the proper balance to recovery. Thanks so much for posting this Becca.
